Rococo Kitsch - Rococo Kitsch began as a way for Alice to raise money for Black liberation organizations in the wake of the police murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Tony McDade among countless others. By making and selling earrings throughout June 2020, they leveraged their quarantine hobby to raise over $1400 for Minnesota Freedom Fund, Black Visions Collective, Chicago Community Bond Fund, and Brave Space Alliance. Revel and Riot is a non-profit; using their t-shirts as a canvas to promote equality, pride, visibility and justice. “The t-shirt is accessible, it is personal, it is interpreted differently than other mediums because there is a real person inside of it.” They offer tons of resources, attend Pride events, donate and do collaborations with other queer folks in the community. QUILTBAG is a really cool company (whose namesake is actually an anagram of the LGBTQ+ acronym) that creates awesome pronoun pins. Originating in 2018, Edmonton Canada was blessed with an explicitly LGBTQ2S+ retail. Check these slick pronoun pins- 15% of the sales from each pin are directed towards an Indigenous land trust initiative such that LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit Indigenous people can build and have access to communal living spaces, a cook shack, and spaces for ceremony.
